SLE4428 Contact Card is a type of low-cost EEPROM memory smart card with 1K byte storage space. And it is a protected smart card that consists of 1,024 octets de mémoire EEPROM. Après huit saisies incorrectes successives, the error counter will block any subsequent attempt at PSC verification and hence any possibility to be wrote and erased. So that it is no doubt that gives a sense of secure for the users. SLE4428 is now replaced with SLE5528. SLE5528 is 100% functional compatible with SLE 4428.

♦ All the memory, except for the PSC, can always be read;
♦ The memory can be written or erased only after PSC verification;
♦ After 8 successive incorrect entries the error counter will block any subsequent attempt at PSC verification and hence any possibility to write and erase.
